An opportunity has arisen for a solderer wirer to be trained to European Space Agency ESA standard. Full training will be given to the right candidate. Job Description Electrical assembly of Spacecraft hardware Main Duties Harnessing, wiring, crimping, soldering on spacecraft hardware. Inspection of electronic components Peer inspection of other technicians work Engineering documentation support Working in a clean room environment Class 100,000 Class 100 Essential Criteria At least one year industrial soldering experience Experience of wiring and PCB assembly Experience of following Mil Specs and IPC J standard 610620 Prototype work with breadboard PCBs to component level Microsoft office skills in Word and Excel to update procedures Person Specification Willing to learn new soldering and wiring skills Demonstrates pride in work Helpful and able to work as part of a team Flexible to changing priorities Working in a fast paced environment Must be able to follow stringent industry and company specific procedures Some flexibility in working hours sometimes needed to suit business requirements Motivated and demonstrates good attention to detail Excellent communication skills Ad hoc duties as required IPC Standard Certificate desirable
