Woolies faces action over 'unsafe' products

SUPERMARKET giant Woolworths has been slapped with a court action by the Australian consumer watchdog, after allegedly selling unsafe products despite knowing they were potentially dangerous. Supermarket chain, Woolworths Limited posted strong FY14 results boosted by record food and liquor sales in Australia and a pick-up in earnings from its New Zealand Supermarkets division up 14.9%.
