Worcester mulls possible changes to curbside recycling program

The city is looking to extend by one year its contract with the company that handles its curbside residential waste recycling program. Paul J. Moosey, commissioner of public works and parks, told the City Council Tuesday night that discussions are under way with Casella Waste Systems to extend the contact, which expires June 30, at the same cost for another year.
