We are looking for a hardworking energetic talent, proactive, customeroriented and resourceful, interested in applying hisher basic knowledge in supporting our inhouse 1st level ICT support team in a very international and flexible environment. You resolve common user issues, deliver PCs where you will deploy operating systems and software to our users. This job position is based at our Headquarter in Darmstadt. It is parttime 1520hweek and limited for one year but can be extended. The estimated starting date will be around November 2021. We would also like to emphasize that we expect someone to remain as a working student for at least 12 months, i.e. we expect candidates to remain enrolled at the University for the next 12 months. ResponsibilitiesDuties The Engineer will provide support to the Corporate ICT Team in the delivery of 1st Level support The work shall include responding to 1st level tickets as well as taking care of the complete supply chain for supplying hardware to our end users. This includes deploying an operating system including software and delivering it to our end users Updating Access Control Lists for various services including shared folders, web services and email Maintaining hardware asset database Working on Microsoft Exchange server for various 1st level tasks like creating mail addresses, mailboxes etc. QualificationsExperience Good knowledge in basic computer systems especially Windows 10 The successful candidate will have strong resultsoriented and planning capabilities, coupled with very good problemsolving skills and a pronounced customer focus Applicants should have good communication and negotiation skills, be able to work in a diverse team environment and accomplish goals in line with team objectives Excited to learn and deal with modern IT technologies Essential Skills Good command of German and English both spoken and written Proactive and resourceful attitude Good communication, team oriented and mediation skills Knowledge and working experience with Windows 10 and MS Office Providing timely analysis and resolution of issues reported by our users Ability to manage assigned activitiestasks accountability and respect for deadlines Willing to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team, department, and company goals Independently finding and solving problems Desirable Skills Some programmingscripting experience PowerShell Experience in networking basics Microsoft Server OS basic skills Your Benefits of joining us Worklife balance Flexible working hours that fit your studies International environment Motivating team Application Are you equally inspired by our visions and dreams?
