This 2-stage, 8.5–10.5 GHz, GaAs MMIC power amplifier can be biased using direct gate voltage or on-chip gate bias circuit. Dual-sided bias architecture promotes flexible assembly and board design. Specific applications include marine, weather, and surface-movement radar as well as perimeter security and communication links.
