YouTube to start funding content from top creators

(Telecompaper) YouTube has announced that it will start funding new content from its top creators, so that these can deliver exclusive new content. YouTube said it will experiment with new formats and ideas. The company records more 1 billion viewers visits every month, with daily watchtime growing at 50 percent per year. The company recently started investing in channels to jumpstart its creator ecosystem, and created the YouTube Spaces in Los Angeles, Tokyo, London, and soon, New York. The Spaces offer creators free access to the latest equipment, sets and support in order to help them create and innovate content. YouTube also expanded its support to full-scale marketing and advertising campaigns. These campaigns started in the US but will now get extended to the UK, France, Germany and Brazil, amongst others.
