According to Zacks, "Gerdau's net earnings declined 39.2% year over year in first-quarter 2015. The top line declined 1% year over year due to a fall in revenues generated from the Brazil, Special Steel and Iron Ore segments, offset partially by gains in North America and Latin America segments.
