Two young scientists, Katherine Sharon and Melanie Beckman, were recently honored as recipients of the 2013 Young Scholar Recognition Program award during the American Society of Animal Science (ASAS) Western Section meetings held in Bozeman, Mont. As award recipients, they received a plaque, a monetary award and the opportunity to give an invited talk at the meeting. read more
