iPad Air 2 teardown reveals the magic of Apples thinnest tablet: A smaller battery
2014-10-23 14:48:15| Extremetech
How undignified: The iPad Air 2 has only been officially released for a few hours, and already it has been torn down to find what lie within. Most notably, iPad Air 2 is thinner and lighter than the original Air because it has a much smaller battery. Curiously, the teardown also found that the iPad Air 2 does have an NFC chip -- though seemingly NFC functionality is disabled in software.
