The following are the M&A deals, rumors and chatter circulating on Wall Street for Thursday July 2 through Sunday July 5, 2015: The Deal : Aetna and Humana Inc. announced Friday, that Aetna will acquire all outstanding shares of Humana for $37 billion or approximately $230 in cash and stock, based on the closing price of Aetna common shares on July 2, 2015. Humana stockholders will receive $125.00 in cash and 0.8375 Aetna common shares for each Humana share.
