Ground Segment Infrastructure Operations Center, System Manager Position Description System Manager for OneWeb Infrastructure Operations Center IOC. The candidate has an extensive knowledge and expertise in Ground Segment of satellite communications systems. Candidates with particular emphasis on Network Management functions, User Terminal management, and some knowledge of satellite operations will be considered favourably. Knowledge of Requirements document preparation, software development processes and validation techniques are required. The candidate should be knowledgeable of network access protocols, 5G LTE, and file exchange techniques. The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills to manage a team of engineers and subcontractors as well as knowledge in estimation of project costs both labour and material. Job Responsibilities Provide technical interface with customers, Program Managers and supplierssubcontractors, Determine and develop optimum design solutions for Ground Segment system, Decompose, synthesize and analyze complex ground segment technical requirements, Responsible for technical, cost and schedule of projects efforts, Ensure that deliverables fromto other organizations are correct and timely This position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Ground Segment of satellite communications systems including systems engineering management and business development for the items described above. The candidate will need to support extended and flexible hours as may be required, driven by customer deadlines.
