Infrastructure giant Metro Pacific Investments Corp. is in talks with a European company in its bid to land its first airport Public-Private Partnership project. Manuel V. Pangilinan, MPIC chairman, told reporters that their prospective partner prefers to bid for the five regional airport projects worth P108.2 billion as a single bundle.

Metro Pacific Investments Corp. plans to borrow up to P30 billion from banks starting next year as it prepares for the construction of the Cavite-Laguna Expressway project. MPIC chief financial officer David J. Nicol said they are looking to borrow from a mix of local and foreign banks as much as P30 billion, with a loan term of 10 years or longer.

San Miguel Corp. and Metro Pacific Investments Corp. have denied the Department of Transportation and Communications' statement that they're close to an agreement to build what the government calls a second common station in front of SM North EDSA this month.
