Additional requirements A minimum of five to eight years proven work experience in accounting at private or publicsector multinational organisations. Extensive operational accounting experience in SAP FI modules general ledger, VAT, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashbanks, miscellaneous, fixed assets is required. Practical experience in the preparation of IPSAS financial statements. Other information For behavioural competencies expected from ESA staff in general, please refer to the ESA Competency Framework. The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these is required. Knowledge of another Member State language would be an asset. DUTIES The Senior Accounting Officer provides support to the Chief Accountant with respect to implementation of the Agencys accounting policy and procedures. A minimum of seven years of professional experience, with increasing responsibility, in accounting and auditing in private or publicsector multinational organisations is required.
