Genelux Corporation, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of vaccinia virus for oncolytic immunotherapy, today announced that data from two Phase I trials evaluating its lead oncolytic virotherapy GL-ONC1 in head and neck cancer and malignant pleural mesothelioma demonstrate a favorable safety profile and support further investigation of the therapy in both indications. The results will be presented by lead investigators from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center at the upcoming 2015 American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting, being held May 29-June 2 in Chicago, IL.
iTEAM carry out UHD-1 Phase-2 trials over DVB-T2 in Spain

Researchers at the Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications (iTEAM) of the Universitat Politcnica de Valncia in Spain, have carried out the first transmission trials using DVB-T2 with the Ultra HD format known as 'UHD-1 Phase-2'.

(Telecompaper) Mobile messaging service Line has started testing a USD 2 per month music streaming app, TechCrunch reported. Line Music is being tested in Thailand, where Line has carried out a series of other pilots related to its shift into value added services. The app is available for iOS and Android and is integrated into the chat app to allow users to share songs with Line friends, or post to their timeline inside the app. Line declined to say how many tracks that the new service has. The company has signed licensing deals with a number of music labels in Thailand, including RS Music. Thailand, with 30 million registered Line users, is the company's second largest market behind its native Japan. Initially, Line is offering Music users one month of free access to the service, after which the USD 2 per month fee will kick in. Line declined to say whether and when it will expand the service into other markets.
