The TPP, or Trans-Pacific Partnership is a proposed agreement between multiple member states that would criminalize cell phone unlocking and jail breaking, mandate software patents, and vastly extend copyright terms -- even though domestically, the US is trying to pass law that curbs patent abuse and explicitly allows for cell phone unlocking.
