UPDATE 1-Rockwell Automation revenue drops on strong dollar

Rockwell Automation Inc, which makes automation systems that help factories run smoothly, reported a 4.5 percent fall in quarterly revenue, hurt by a strong dollar and slowing industrial production growth. Rockwell, which gets about 48 percent of its annual revenue from outside the United States, tightened its 2015 adjusted earnings forecast to $6.55-$6.70 per share, from $6.50-6.80.

South Ash Creek Stream Enhancement Project Update July 28, 2016

Environmental Services is working with Portland Parks & Recreation to design and construct a stream enhancement project in the Ash Creek Natural Area/Taylors Woods portion of Dickinson Park. The project will stabilize the stream channel, improve in-stream habitat at key locations and protect sewer infrastructure. The city will restore native plants in areas disturbed during construction and throughout the Ash Creek Natural Area. Construction is scheduled to start this summer.

Following the market opening Tuesday, the Dow traded up 0.32 percent to 17,496.14 while the NASDAQ climbed 0.10 percent to 5,044.99. The S&P also rose, gaining 0.36 percent to 2,075.12.
SE Division & 6th Sewer Replacement Project Update

Environmental Services your sewer and stormwater service provider will replace and increase capacity for about 270 feet of public sewer pipes on SE Division Place between SE 6th and SE 7th avenues. The pipes are between 95 and 106 years old. This project will increase sewer capacity and reduce the risks of sewage releases to homes and streets.
