ResponsibilitiesDuties Support to system engineering activities such as the analysis and tradeoff of system aspects, preparation of the system specifications, preparation and review of the system documentation and participation in system level formal reviews. Design and define the mission control operational aspects and ensure that these are adequately reflected in the system technical specifications. Furthermore, you will provide support to the customization of the PUS specific to the EPSSG programme. Design, maintain and coordinate the definition of the system ICD and liaise both internally and externally. Maintain the EPSSG system level model using Vitech CORE modelling tools to ensure that the model is up to date with any system level changes or evolutions and implement the configuration control and model documentation. QualificationsExperience You have a university or similar degree in engineering or science. You have at least 5 years of experience in the field of engineering of space andor ground systems. You have experience in satellite monitoring and control using ECSS PUS standards. You have excellent writing skills and experience in writing technical documentation. You are able to work independently and without close supervision. You have excellent English skills. You will be part of a 3person team, where you will be contributing in the phase CD system engineering activities related to the specification, design and development of the EPSSG system.
