(Telecompaper) Vivendi reported group revenues of EUR 3.38 billion for the third quarter, representing an organic growth rate of 5.6 percent year-on-year. Universal Music remained the group's leading revenue-generating business, with sales worth EUR 1.50 billion, and the best performing division, posting an organic growth rate of 13.5 percent.

(Telecompaper) France's Iliad said its newly-launched Italian venture delivered an "exceptional commercial performance" in the third quarter, with customer numbers rising to 2.23 million at the end of September from 1.5 million in early August. Iliad entered the Italian market as the country's fourth mobile network operator on 29 May and the new unit contributed a total of EUR 46 million to the parent company's revenues in the July to September period, nearly 4 percent of the group's total, adding to the EUR 9 million generated in its first month of activity.
Vodacom group revenue up 5.6% to ZAR 44.4 bln in H1

(Telecompaper) Vodacom Group revenue increased by 5.6 percent to ZAR 44.36 billion in the company's fiscal first half to 30 September. Service revenue rose by 6.1 percent to ZAR 36.77 billion, and EBITDA was up 4.7 percent to ZAR 16.47 billion. The group added 4.8 million customers in the six months, including 2.5 million in South Africa, 2.3 million in international operations and 373,000 at Safaricom, for a total base of over 109 million customers at the end of the period.
SingTel's half-year profit plunges 60%, revenue up 3%

(Telecompaper) Singapore operator Singtel saw its operating revenue grow 3 percent year-on-year in constant currency terms to SGD 8.40 billion in the half-year ended 30 September, underpinned by strong postpaid mobile customer growth and higher equipment sales across Singapore and Australia. EBITDA fell 3 percent in constant currency terms, driven by lower NBN migration revenues in Australia, lower voice revenue, as well as investments in the Group's digital businesses.
