NW District Sewer Repair Project Update - Night Work

Pipe installation on NW Wilson Street and NW 27th Avenue is nearly complete. Once complete, crews will install six new manholes, storm drains and connections to each building on NW Vaughn between NW 23rd and 27th avenues. This work will be done at night during the allowable work hours and days, one block at a time.

Eliot Sewer and Stormwater Project Update: October 5, 2016

Environmental Services is designing a sewer repair and stormwater management project in the southern part of the Eliot neighborhood to replace or repair approximately 10,000 feet of deteriorating public sewer pipes that are 100 to 120 years old. Many of the pipes will be made larger to accommodate current and future flows. The project will also include constructing green street planters in key locations in the right-of-way on public streets.

Lower Powell Green Street and Sewer Repair Project Update: September 29, 2016

Work continues on an Environmental Services project to replace and repair 4,508 feet of aging sewer pipe. The work includes constructing 22 green street planters and planting trees to absorb rain and reduce stormwater runoff. The project will keep about 1.6 million gallons of stormwater out of sewers annually, increase sewer system capacity and reduce basement backups.
