Wall St slips as oil rebound continues

Disappointing US manufacturing and consumer spending data weighed on equities, offsetting a rebound in energy stocks along with oil prices. The Institute for Supply Management's index fell more than expected to 53.5 last month, from 55.1 in December, while Commerce Department report showed consumer spending dropped 0.3 per cent in December, following a 0.5 per cent increase in November.

Wall St slips as oil rebound continues

Rayonier AM disappoints Wall Street again

Rayonier Advanced Materials Inc.'s quarterly reports have been disappointing Wall Street since it was spun off from Rayonier Inc. seven months ago, and the company did it again last week. Rayonier AM's adjusted earnings of 61 cents a share matched the average forecast of analysts surveyed by Thomson Financial.
