This may require out of hours advice and having to work outside of normal working hours The training standards of all Spacecraft Controllers SCs, ensuring that Competency Tracking is recorded and staff skills are maintained for annual recategorisation. Investigating and reporting on all commanding incidents The development and implementation of training, exercises and rehearsals for launch campaigns Assisting the SMA in the development of commanding, competency demonstration, and incident reporting policy Ensuring that a 365day, 247 shift roster is maintained within the Space Operations Team to meet customer and contract requirements Ensuring all major operation and personnel issues are brought to the attention of the Serco Operations Manager Skynet In addition the SOM is responsible for, Deputising for the SMA as agreed and authorised Supervising and assisting in the productivity of SMA assigned project work Assist SMA as required in future expansion opportunities Ensuring Serco Corporate Governance and procedures are followed at all times Ensuring staff Performance Review timetables are maintained Undertaking tasks as directed by the Serco Senior Management Team without detriment to customer requirements Ensuring all customer and internal meetings have representation as required Upholding the values and behaviours of Serco in line with SMS and Governing Principles Promotion of business continuity as a management activity within Skynet 5 Operations.
