Development areas include customers, vendors, partnerships, MAs, frequencies as well as space and ground assets, financing and services provided Occasional travel required Primary Responsibilities Key Result Areas Key Contributor to the Business Development activities within the BDEMEA team to carry out a.o. the following main tasks in accordance with the approved Business Development process Participate to the development of the regional development plan and leadcontribute to the execution of the resulting strategic initiatives Act as primary centre of expertise, and support function to the subregions beyond EMEA, if required, for horizontal topicsthemes as defined in the company and more specifically the regional strategic plans eg. Government services and solutions, TelcoHybrid solutions, DTH turnkey solutions, Digital Transition themes, Broadband Development, MNO, etc. Act as the important interface with the Services companies, Market Solutions Centres and Verticals for the development roadmap bring in regional requirements and for the execution of Government Institutions sector related turnkey solutions based on concrete customer requirements bring space, ground and service solutions elements together or regional market development needs beyond EMEA, if required Under the supervision of the subregional leaders, lead or support vertical crossfunctional initiatives and projects for market scouting, market entry strategy, partnership option assessments, and execute longterm strategic customer initiatives, business opportunities and structured deals. Key focus is Government Institutions arena Provide topical strategic assessments and recommendations to Executive Management, Sales and Service Companies For these purposes Guide and closely work with other BD functions including Market Intelligence, MA, Spectrum and Fleet Management, etc. Interface and engage with external partners e.g. customers, Government bodies, investment partners, vendors, shareholders, etc. and represent SES at selected official events, exhibitions, trade shows and conferences. Competencies Leadership personality with the ability to communicate and drive results at all levels of the organisation Good to excellent Project Management skills with focus on execution and implementation Good analytical and communication presentation skills at Executive Management and GovernmentalDiplomatic levels Be a proactive team player with strong relationship building qualities and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines Understanding the market dynamics and technological drivers in the media and the telecommunication industries, and help formulate and drive the consequential innovation development strategies Ability to identify and effectively implement change and solve problems Qualification Experience Minimum of eight to 10 years of professional experience, preferably with five or more years in the satellite, media or telecommunications industries Master of Business Administration MBA or comparable degree with engineering degree preferred Demonstrated past leadership experience in business development, technological innovation, and implementation of growth strategies in multicultural environments Thorough understanding of, and past experience in, the satellite, media and telecommunications market place Fluency in English, other languages being considered an asset Our Offer Competitive salary package, coupled with a diverse array of challenges and development benefits. Business and Process Analyst Project Controller

For our activities in ESTEC, we are currently looking for a Business and Process Analyst Programme Project Controller. Main responsibilities The main responsibility you will have in this role is to provide process and business analysis support to the Budget Service within ESTEC. Specific tasks will be Support process mapping and integration of ESA wide resource processes Support collection and consolidation of schedule and resource data cost, workforce, for activities and extract relevant data from corporate tools Monitor progress of activities by extracting data from esap and other corporate systems as applicable, defining standard reports and export templates needed for data analysis and reporting Perform data analysis and produce associated reports as required by management Support the definition, development, implementation and maintenance of tools and databases including improvement to existing tools to ensure efficient execution of the related tasks Provide support to the definition and development of user requirements for corporate tools and to the testing of the tools Interface with directorate focal points and other stakeholders and services as needed for the execution of the above tasks. You may also have the following general Programme Project Controlling tasks and responsibilities Support to the planning, preparation, execution and followup of projects programmes activities in terms of schedule, related procurement actions, costs including preparation of CaC as relevant, manpower including support, etc. Support to programme project level risk management Maintaining up to date the related data, performing data analysis, identifying deviations w.r.t. plans targets and production of associated reports to the responsible management and to the concerned customers when relevant. Ideal candidate Requirements As successful applicant you should bring a Master in Engineering or equivalent or MBA or equivalent University degree from a recognised Institution of secondary studies or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, with at least 4 years of relevant experience in business process analysis or data analytics. Further requirements as follows in order of relevance Excellent MS Excel and Access skills along with good overall working knowledge of MS Office Excellent analytical ability, good planning and organisation skills Good interpersonal and communication skills. Reliability, rigor and initiative in the execution of the assigned work Experience as user of SAP and in particular ECC and SRM modules and familiarity with relevant ESA corporate applications e.g. esap Proficient in the English language, both written and spoken, knowledge of another official ESA language is an asset Experience in controlling and or management of activities and resources in the aerospace industry would be an advantage. For some tasks knowledge of Finance Accounting may be of use Ability to rapidly understand and adapt to ESA specific context and environment including ESA corporate IT applications.
