000 ABPZ20 KNHC 071112 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 500 AM PDT Wed Oct 7 2020 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Norbert, located several hundred miles southwest of the southwestern coast of Mexico. Showers and thunderstorms have become a little better organized this morning in association with an elongated area of low pressure located more than 1000 miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. Some additional development of this system is possible during the next few days while it moves slowly north-northwestward at about 5 mph. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...30 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...medium...40 percent. $$ Forecaster Roberts

The National Hurricane Center has issued the last advisory on Post-Tropical Cyclone Marie, located more than 1600 miles west of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. Disorganized showers and thunderstorms continue in association with an elongated area of low pressure located more than 1000 miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. 000 ABPZ20 KNHC 061103 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 500 AM PDT Tue Oct 6 2020 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Marie, located over the western part of the basin, and on recently upgraded Tropical Storm Norbert, located several hundred miles southwest of the southwestern coast of Mexico. Satellite derived winds indicate a trough of low pressure is located a few hundred miles south-southeast of the Gulf of Tehuantepec. This system is producing limited shower activity and upper-level winds are becoming less favorable. Therefore, development of this system is not anticipated while it moves little during the next few days. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...low...near 0 percent. A broad area of low pressure, located about 1000 miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula, is producing limited shower and thunderstorm activity.
