Robert Bentley is right when he says this: "The responsibility for enforcement of Alabama's criminal laws most properly lies with the elected sheriffs and district attorneys of each county..." That quote is found in a new executive order Bentley issued Thursday which rescinded the very first executive order he issued as governor almost five years ago.
