AT&T strikes tentative labor agreement with retail, call center employees in Southwest

AT&T and a union that represents employees who work in stores and call centers in the Southwest have agreed to a labor contract over wages and pensions. Dallas-based AT&T announced today that it's struck a tentative labor agreement with a union that represents nearly 10,000 employees in the Southwest.

Reuters: Singapore on Monday announced it had begun to feed solar power into its retail electric grid for the first time, as it seeks to reduce emissions and prepares to fully liberalize its electricity market. Singapore, one of the sunniest cities in the world, generates almost all its power from imported natural gas, with solar fuelling less than 1 percent.
