Ideal candidate Essentials The candidate should have relevant engineering university degree in field, astronomy, mathematics or physics Should have skills to apply knowledge to develop solutions to technical mathematical and dynamical problems in cooperation with customers and other experts Should be able to define, implement, validate and operate software which applies the above solutions using e.g. Linux scripting languages, Fortran, C, Matlab, Python Good communication and presentation skills Fluency in English, both in speech and writing The candidate should coordinate and interact with other service providers in Mission Analysis and other fields Should be able to work independently. Desirables Familiarity with the ESOC environment Be familiar experienced with Mission Analysis tasks Have experience in dealing with external interfaces Have experience with Linux, network services and protocols, and system administration Ability to multitask efficiently working on multiple activities multiple missions simultaneously.
