A vacancy for a Development Engineer Space Physics mf has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Friedrichshafen. The successful applicant will join TSOEC32 FV Infrastructure , Eng Ops Products. This position requires an indepth understanding and knowledge of the space environment. This includes establishing good relationships with the Airbus DS project teams, the customers and the space physics science and international engineering community. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Providing engineering analysis to support Airbus DS space projects in the space environment modelling domain and evaluating its impact on the spacecraft radiation, micrometeoroids and atomic oxygen Performing activities to support Airbus DS projects in additional areas of space physics propulsion, fluid dynamics, contamination and outgassing We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Educated to a degree level in Physics Experience in the field of physics e.g. space environment, simulation of energetic particle radiation, surface science, materials, solid state physics, plasma physics or physics of electronic components Broad Physics background and interest General knowledge of numerical modelling and simulation Knowledge and experience in programming C, python, VBA, or similar Knowledge of related software tools like Systema or ESABASE2 would be an asset Ability and enthusiasm to rigorously and reliably perform the detailed daytoday space physics analysis tasks supporting satellite design and development Ability to integrate into a multinational team and to establish good relationships with international customers, subcontractors, laboratories and scientific institutions Initiative to bring in ideas to further develop the field of space physics analysis Negotiation level of English German or French would be a plus Please apply on line for this vacancy on line at our careers site www.jobs.airbusgroup.com with your CV attached. The Valley Hospital has again expanded its real estate presence in Paramus, leasing 74,000 square feet of office space in a corporate development near its ambulatory-surgery and outpatient cancer center. The 10-year lease at the Mack-Cali Centre III, located at 140 East Ridgewood Avenue, near the Garden State Parkway, was signed last month and announced this week by Mac-Cali Realty Corp., owner of the development.
