The Knowles capacitor brands of Novacap and Syfer Technology recently announced the joint launch of a new range of MLC chips with an operating temperature range of -55 to +200 degrees Celsius, and are suitable for a variety of high temperature applications. They will launch this series of MLCCs in Booth 20 at HiTEC 2016, on May 10 and 11 at the Albuquerque Marriott Pyramid North, New Mexico.

Capacitance values range from 1,000 pF to 0.015 µF, and available tolerances include J (±5%), K (±10%), and M (±20%). Conformally coated to eliminate arc flashover potential, products operate from -55 to +125°C and come in 3 case sizes with 5.08 mm thickness and 11.9 x 10.2 mm, 7.62 x 9.14 mm, and 10.2 x 11.7 mm footprints.
