Orange updates pricing strategy as Belgian mobile market contracts again in Q4

(Telecompaper) Orange has positioned itself as the 'challenger' in the Belgian market since it launched fixed broadband offers over cable in 2017. Since then it has led customer growth on the mobile and broadband markets, supported by discounts and double data for its mobile customers who bundle their plans with the Love fixed packages.

Telefonica, TIM plan expansion in Brazil with bid for Oi mobile business

(Telecompaper) Telefonica and TIM have united to make an offer to acquire Brazilian operator Oi's mobile business. The companies said they contacted Oi's advisor Bank of America Merrill Lynch to start the negotiations, and Oi confirmed an approach from unnamed third parties.
