Their tasks in the area of EPS Flight Dynamics routine operations will typically include Execution of the routine operations of the EPS Flight Dynamics Facility, including spacecraft orbit determination and propagation, events and ground station visibility predictions, Attitude and Orbit Control System AOCS telecommand generation and telemetry monitoring. Analysis and implementation of mechanisms or tools allowing the automatic or semiautomatic verification testing of the application software. o Coordination of the production of new software releases or patches, delivery acceptance and installation onsite. This activity includes the technical coordination of the production by an external contractor of new releases or patches of the application software, liaison with the EUMETSAT operational users, participation to technical reviews, participation to infactory at contractor premises acceptance testing campaigns and coordination of the installation of the releases or patches onsite at EUMETSAT. o Execution and coordination of software verification and nonregression testing campaigns. This activity includes preparation of test data, running the test procedures on the target system, generation of test reports, analysis of results and troubleshooting of problems. o Software support software support to the endusers of the application software. o Ensure operations continuity by provision of oncall services and software support to operations. o Documentation generation and updates of technical documents. o Technical point of contact for maintenance contractors acting as point of contact with the contractor for technical discussions, review of technical documentation from the contractor, organizing periodical technical meetings with the contractor. Support to Reference Architecture definition and maintenance o Participation to the definition and maintenance of the EUMETSAT TSS reference architecture for the Flight Dynamics System part of the Ground Segment. Experience and education In addition to having a University degree in a relevant engineering discipline, the key person shall demonstrate significant knowledge and experience in the area of specification, design, implementation, verification and maintenance of Flight Dynamics Systems. The key person shall have skills and experience in the following mandatory areas 1. Domain Skills o Experience minimum 3 years in requirements elicitation in the area of Flight Dynamics. o Experience minimum 3 years in the definition of software requirements, architectural design, implementation andor customisation of Satellite Flight Dynamics Systems in the context of LEO missions. 2. Software Development, Verification Maintenance Skills o Experience minimum 3 years in the full cycle of development and maintenance of application software, preferably for Satellite Flight Dynamics Systems, following formal software engineering processes.
