Telarix to merge with Starhome Mach to create global interconnect, roaming services provider

(Telecompaper) Telarix announced an agreement to merge with Starhome Mach, creating a new global provider of wholesale network services for telecom operators. Starhome Mach's owner Fortissimo Capital is selling the company after six years of building the business to Telarix's owner Vista Equity Partners for an undisclosed sum.

(Telecompaper) Singapore mobile operator Singtel has announced plans to interconnect mobile wallets across different ecosystems through an interoperable platform. To start with, the Group plans to initially link the mobile wallets of Singtel and its regional associates, with the first commercial launch between Singtel and AIS. Different mobile wallets across different markets will be connected to offer cross-border payments at physical merchants.
