Wesfarmers is preparing to roll out its highly successful Bunnings brand in Britain after launching a GBP340 million offer to buy the Homebase group from London-listed Home Retail Group. If the deal goes ahead, it will hand Wesfarmers a 265-store network in Britain and Ireland with full-year revenue of GBP1.5 billion.
