TUCSON, AZ - It's time to give that car a break, as the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality and the Pima Association of Governments participates in World Car-Free Day on Monday. "There are so many benefits to finding another way of getting there including saving money, reducing traffic jams, gaining strength by walking to the bus or biking, conserving energy, and improving air quality," said Beth Gorman, Senior Program Manager with PDEQ's Clean Air Program, in a recent release.
