Atlantic Tropical Weather Outlook

2018-11-13 12:29:13| National Hurricane Center (Atlantic)

000 ABNT20 KNHC 131129 TWOAT Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 700 AM EST Tue Nov 13 2018 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: Disorganized showers and a few thunderstorms moving through the Leeward Islands are associated with a tropical wave interacting with an upper-level low. Strong upper-level winds and interaction with the islands of the Greater Antilles, while the system moves generally westward, should inhibit tropical cyclone formation. Regardless of development, this system is expected to bring locally heavy rainfall to portions of the Leeward Islands, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico over the next few days. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...low...30 percent. $$ Forecaster Roberts
