US apparel imports have again stagnated in the last quarter of 2007, with Chinese shipments no more rising in volume terms and imports from Vietnam slowing down. By contrast, shipments from Bangladesh and Cambodia have recovered, thanks to a fall of unit prices in dollar terms. Apparel imports have stayed similarly frozen over the full last year, with Central America experiencing a clear decline. Our quarterly and annual report details shipments to U.S. market per origin, with volume and value changes, market shares, and unit value variations in the last five years.
