Network Engineer Israel Beit Shemesh Key Role Purpose Services Delivery for the design, implementation and management of mission critical IP production networks associated with IP platforms, Internet Backbone infrastructure and media content contributiondistribution. He She will have a dedication and commitment to providing a high level technical competence, professionalism and customer service. Main Responsibilities Implement and maintain high availability, scalable and cost effective IPMPLS production networks involved in the support of mission critical operations and customer service provision. Support Data and Video Networks. Responsible for provision of Level 3 network engineering support to Network Operations. Provide and maintain a detailed documentation for all IP networks drawings operational procedures troubleshooting guides. Be proactive in implementing improvements to the existing network infrastructure in the drive for best in class service availability and reliability while meeting internal product requirements. Manage vendors with particular emphasis on maintenance agreements, incident management and software deployment Qualification Experience Professional certification to level of Cisco Certified Network Professional RS or SP Must. Experience with Checkpoint or Fortinet Firewalls Must. University degree in ElectronicsEngineering advantage. At least 2 years of professional experience in IP networking and LANWAN technologies including but not limited to Layer 2 3, network architecture and design, experience in IOS XEXR platforms. At least 2 years of experience in Service provider networks advantage Proven track record in the design, implementation and support of high availability IP networks along with associated security, traffic management and monitoring systems, including detailed multicast and MPLS network design. e.g. MPLS, MPLSTE, RSVP, OSPF, Multicast and multicast VPN. Able to read, write and debug shell code and other scripting languages e.g. Python advantage Competencies Excellent English, verbal and written communication skills must. participating 247 on call duty must. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Must be able to operate in a high stress production environment. Strong documentation and report writing skills for peers, team members and NOC staff. Ability to coordinate business requirements and day to day tasks. Ability to manage complex projects and network implementations. Good communication skills and teamspirit.
