Demonstrated experience of defining system interactions and successfully implementing them in a large project TASKS Maintain the system development logic covering all system elements, up to the time of the handover of the last satellite to the Operations Department Maintain a detailed system development schedule in coordination with all subsystems and partners, together with a critical path analysis of each version of the schedule Identify all interactions between subsystems and partners, and associate them with main system development milestones and the program work breakdown structure Provide inputs to the sections of the System Development Plan concerning system development logic, schedule and interactions Prepare and maintain Interactions Documents for partners, defining all interactions between subsystems, together with their need dates. Interactions will cover such areas as Deliverables hardware, software, databases, documentation, algorithms, test data sets, tools, configuration statuses Support mutual review support, joint test and operational rehearsals preparation and execution, test data analyses Access to services, sites, facilities, infrastructure and interfaces Manage the configuration of all schedule and Interactions Documents versions Follow up all subsystem developments and participate in any necessary meetings and reviews Track progress against agreed development plans and Interaction Documents and signal any likely or identified deviations from these plans, together with proposals to reduce the impact of any delays Provide regular tracking metrics and summary reports on system development progress against the development schedule and the status of interactions

Position Reference 110 You will have the opportunity to support the FLEX PDGS Project Manager and the Data Quality and Algorithms Management office, covering all aspects related to Operational Processors, Calibration, Data Quality Control and Instruments Monitoring. It spans from phase C to phase E1 and possibly during phase E2. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Management Support to the PDGS Operational Processors, Calibration Facility, Data Quality Control and Instruments Monitoring subsystems technical officers for Preparation of the PDGS subsystems managerial documentation e.g. implementation plan Preparation of the PDGS subsystems contractual documentation e.g. SoWs Management of industries in charge of PDGS subsystems development Coordination of PDGS subsystems reviews Preparation of the PDGS SubSystems requirements documents Support to PDGS specification for the part relevant to the PDGS subsystems implementation e.g. Interface Control Documents Support the acceptance by the PDGS Project of PDGS external CFIs Review of documentation from various sources ESA, Industry during the project phases dealing with subsystems implementation and testing. You have a good understanding of and background in geophysical sciences andor specific instruments relevant to the FLEX mission. You have experience in instrument and data monitoring. You have experience in data quality control. You have experience in operational processors development. You have experience in calibration activities. You are fluent English language oral and written. You are autonomous in writing technical notes, specifications and reports in English. You have good interpersonal skills and team spirit. The following skills would be highly desirable You have a good knowledge of the ESA Earth Explorers missions and instruments and processes related to their PDGS development. You possess programming skills e.g. MatLab in order to develop tools for the accomplishment of the engineering, testing and validation activities.
