Rule clarifies that carbon dioxide streams captured from emission sources, injected underground via UIC Class VI wells approved for purpose of geologic sequestration under the Safe Drinking Water Act, and meeting certain other conditions, will be excluded from EPA’s hazardous waste regulations.
