Micron Price Target Cut On Manufacturing Transition

RBC Capital Markets analyst Doug Freedman lowered his price target on Micron stock to 40 from 44 in a research report Tuesday, saying the equity research firm had been "overly aggressive in assuming that the 20-nanometer transition would be faster and smoother than expected," generating higher growth. He expects higher back-end assembly and test costs to lower Micron's gross profit margin.

EPA Announcement names 70 Energy Star manufacturing plants.

As announced by U.S. EPA, 70 manufacturing plants in 29 states achieved Energy Star® certification for their superior energy performance in 2014. These manufacturing plants collectively saved record amount of energy, cut their energy bills by $725 million, and reduced greenhouse gas emissions by >8 million metric tons. Energy Star certified plants are independently verified on an annual basis to have reached the top 25 percent of energy performance for their industries nationwide.
