Intended to explore open source and its impact on standards community (and beyond), this event will feature keynote address by Intel® patent, intellectual property, and open source attorney McCoy Smith. Interactive panel sessions include "Industry Impact," "The Right Tool for the Job: Traditional Standards, Open Source, and Hybridization," and "IPR Policies and the Business of Standardization."

PMA and MetalForming magazine, its flagship publication, educated more than 100 metalforming professionals from dozens of companies throughout Mexico at its Press and Die Maintenance Conference in Monterrey Mexico. Co-sponsored by Komatsu and SEYI Mexico, event featured two 3-hour classes—one by Robert Braswell (Senior Partner, Consultamex) on press maintenance, and another by Alvaro Garcia Ortiz (Die Engineering and Sales, Procemec s.a. de c.v.) on die maintenance.

While the top local and international extreme athletes are gearing up for the Ultimate X 2016 action sports festival in the GrandWest arena on Saturday 27 February, South Africa's Harley-Davidson dealers are gearing up in quite a different way. Because this year the Ultimate X festival, sponsored for the first time by Harley-Davidson's Dark Custom division, has issued a challenge to Harley dealerships countrywide to compete for the title of the nation's top custom bike builder in the 'Battle of the Kings'.
