Software Systems Application Engineer 1511107 Job Description We are looking for a Software Systems Application Engineer to support our client ESTEC. You will be part of the Software System Division and support a number of specific and dedicated software applications, many of them deployed in the Software Systems Avionic Lab and used in Projects activities, RD studies and Inhouse facilities ATB, EGSE Reference Facility, System Database Reference Facility and developments. The position involves user support in installation, testing and corrective, adaptive, preventive and perfective maintenance. Specifically the maintenance of software tools that are or will be made available to other ESA or Industry stakeholders, for example through the new ESA Web portal ESSR ESA Space Software Repository. To perform the service, it requires an uptodate and actively maintained knowledge of the stateofart and market availability for a number of software tools.
