A fantastic vacancy has just been released by Europes Meteorological Satellite Agency, EUMETSAT, for an Internal Auditor to work within their Financial Control and Internal Audit Division. EUMETSAT is a growing international organisation offering excellent opportunities within the exciting space sector. Working alongside industry experts, the key candidate shall be handson and highly adaptable with the ability to learn new skills quickly. This role is ideal for candidates with some relevant experience who are eager to learn the EUMETSAT processes and methodologies. Along with a university degree, or equivalent, in a relevant subject, candidates require skills and experience in each of the following areas Proven experience in internal or external auditing Experience in the use of ERP systems ideally SAP and IT tools for audit and data analysis Thorough knowledge of international standards in COSO, auditing IIAIPPF and accounting IPSAS The key candidate shall have a confident and proactive approach with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both spoken and written. They shall be a good listener with a methodical approach, and candidates will also have the ability to effectively prioritise their workload whilst maintaining good attention to detail. Previous experience of working in a multicultural environment, in an international organisation andor in a high technology industry sector would be considered advantageous. All applicants must be EUMETSAT member state nationals with a good working knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written.
