On Thursday, DirecTV shareholders overwhelmingly voted to approve AT&T's offer to acquire the company. Now the only obstacle to merging into AT&T is approval by the FCC and the DOJ. Encana Corp. has completed the sale of its remaining stake in PrairieSky Royalty Ltd. in a secondary offering valued at about $2.6 billion. The stock was sold to a syndicate of underwriters led by several of Canada's biggest banks at a pre-agreed price of $36.50 , which was $2 above PrairieSky's closing stock price on Thursday.
