HSD Connector System meets needs of automotive industry.
2015-07-15 14:31:07| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
Available in B, E, and F coded versions for automotive industry, HF109P meets requirements for HSD (High Speed Data) interfaces and is used for such signals as USB or IEEE1394. Connector system, as standard HSD without ring shield, is 100 Ω impedance controlled and transmits signals using LVDS, which prevents crosstalk between signals and interference from external influences. Metal housing is die-cast zinc with gold-plated center contacts with tinned throughhole solder contacts.

Housed in 2.3 x 2.1 x 0.95 mm SOT-323 package, bidirectional symmetrical Models VLIN26A1-03G and VCAN26A2-03G feature capacitance down to 10 pF and max leakage current of less than 0.05 µA for protection of automotive data lines against transient voltage signals. For LIN bus applications, VLIN26A1-03G provides transient protection for one data line as per IEC 61000 4 2 at ±30 kV (air and contact discharge), while VCAN26A2-03G protects 2 lines for CAN-Bus and FLEX-Bus applications.

Webinar: Simulating The Installed Performance Of Automotive Radars
2015-07-15 09:48:56| rfglobalnet Downloads
Automotive radars must operate in complex and dynamic environments where interactions with the host vehicle and its surroundings can have a significant impact on the performance of the radar system. In particular, the material properties of the vehicle fascia and the location of the radar behind the fascia can impact performance. Radar designers and system integrators also need to understand how the radar will perform under varying traffic and weather conditions. As automotive radar systems mature, it is important to understand complex scattering mechanisms in different environments and for different objects encountered on the road.
