You will join the TEOHE21 department.Your mission will be toProvide engineering support on materials, mechanical parts and processes to business unit projects as required. Contribute to the Local EEE Electronics Support team, with the mission of assuring the quality of materials and processes used in Airbus Defence and Space ADS electronic products. You will report to the Head of Local EEE Electronics Support France and be based in Elancourt 78.Your main functions will be As Materials and Processes Engineer, satisfying internal customers projects, product teams, manufacturing, procurement, design office, PA, etc. through the application of specialist materials and processes knowledge. Ensuring the performance of planned activities, on time and with respect to the governing product assurance requirements. Instigating and managing materials and processes selection, development, evaluation and qualification programmes through to completion. Validating declared materials and processes lists and ensuring that adequate materials and processes qualification has been achieved in accordance with project constraints. Presenting and justifying the materials and processes to the final customers, as well as the validation programmes that were applied. Ensuring deployment of these materials and processes through implementation of the dedicated procedures, specification and all related justification documents within the manufacturing department. Validating the design drawing and the manufacturing files in accordance with qualified technologies and processes Validating the technology conformity of the manufactured products, though Mandatory Inspection Points Acting as the Parts, Materials and Processes manager for one or more projectproduct teams. As the internal customer interface, resolving all parts, materials and processes issues by using inherent materials and processes knowledge or by facilitating the engagement of other specialist team members when necessary. Participating in risk reviews at all stages of product design, development and manufacture, ensuring that materials and processes risk retirement plans are carried through. Reviewing and approving subcontractorsupplier materials and processes documentation. Monitoring the technical performance of subcontractors and suppliers and participating in audits. Maintaining awareness of developments in the field of materials and processes.We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experienceEducated to a Masters degree level in Materials EngineeringAt least 3 years of experience of working in a controlled, hightechnology environment in an industrialmanufacturingengineering roleSpecialist materials and processes knowledge in relevant fields such as electronics technology, soldering and SMT, printed circuit boardsKnowledge of normative technical specifications ECSS, ESCC, ASTM, ISO, etc.Knowledge and appreciation of EEE specification systems and processesAdvanced level in English and in French are expected for the position.Soft SkillsGood interpersonal skills, communication and presentation capability. Construction company Mitsubishi Materials Corp became the first major Japanese company to apologise for using captured American soldiers as slave labourers during World War Two, offering remorse on Sunday for "the tragic events in our past." A company representative offered the apology on behalf of its predecessor, Mitsubishi Mining Co, at a special ceremony at a Los Angeles museum.
