Snohomish County Public Utility District commissioners Tuesday chose Assistant General Manager Craig Collar as the utility's new general manager and chief executive officer. The board of commissioners picked Collar over Interim General Manager Anne Spangler and 44 other applicants hoping to run the utility district, one of the country's largest public utilities.

Through the Government vertical also named Market Solutions Center, the vision of SES is to become a recognized and respected brand in carefully selected government and institutional markets beyond the US, positioning SES as the preferred provider of global government satellite solutions Responsibilities This position is exploring new and emerging technologies that could be leveraged to differentiate SES offering to global government customers as well as accelerate growth in these markets. The position will provide guidance to SES TechCom from the Government Market Solutions Center perspective to ensure the future direction of the businesses and development of products are in line with our growth path and objectives for government. The incumbent will work alongside the Product Management roles in the other Data Mobility and Data Fixed MSCs to find synergy in the development of joint programs and products to leverage maximum growth potential and will be responsible for EClevel presentations of new concepts and investment opportunities. Additional inorganic opportunities and exploration is also the responsibility of this position, including ongoing MA assessments support that enable increased market access, expansion down the value chain and fulfillment of our strategic objective of expanding SES role in serving global government customers in the future.
