Senior Flight Dynamics Engineer Are you an experienced Flight Dynamics Engineer, looking for a new challenge? Do you thrive in a fast paced and creative environment? Key Tasks and Responsibilities Your tasks will include but not be limited to Act as Deputy Head of Flight Dynamics as needed. Perform flight dynamics activities for a fleet of geostationary spacecraft. Activities include, attitude determination, manoeuvre optimization, wheel offloading Implement stationkeeping and colocation strategies Run offline analyses on the spacecraft status and performances, including but not limited to colocation activities, mass consumption estimation, lifetime estimation, et cetera. Code new software tools as required Investigate and recover spacecraft anomalies Write, test, run, and update operational procedures Participate in System Validation Tests, simulations, and training sessions Prepare the handover of all postLEOP operations of HYLAS 3 and HYLAS 4 Seek and suggest improvements to the operational activities Provide support to the FD manager in all daily activities. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Undergraduate degree in mathematics, physics, astronomy, or aerospace engineering, or equivalent experience Ideally complemented by Postgraduate study Deep and demonstrable understanding of Newtonian physics and orbital mechanics Extensive mathematical background, with a good understanding of some of the following differential calculus, matrix algebra, SRIF, spherical geometry, rocket equation Proven professional experience in either of the following Attitude determination, quaternion algebra, attitude control, spacecraft angular momentum management, Orbit determination, manoeuvre optimization, perturbation theory, Kalman filtering, covariance analysis Good programming and scripting skills, complemented by the willingness to learn new software languages. For years, the threat of terrorism- and the fear that threat often engenders-has loomed large in the airline industry both for passengers and airline staff. That fact was made clear yet again earlier this week when 13 flight attendants for Chicago-based United Airlines filed a complaint with the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration claiming they were unfairly fired from their jobs on Oct. 9 and 10 last year.

Union Seeks Election Among Delta Air Lines Flight Attendants
