Google starts programme to certify Android phones for enterprise use

(Telecompaper) Google announced a new programme to certify Android devices with higher specifications meeting the needs of businesses. Devices certified under the Android Enterprise Recommended programme will be tested by Google to show they meet higher specifications for hardware, deployment, security updates, and user experience. In addition, phonemakers in the program receive an enhanced level of technical support and training from Google.

You will have the opportunity to support the Earth Observation Directorate, assigned to the Future Systems Department. You will support in managing the Departments project milestones in liaison with projects managers integrate and provide overview of resource requirements interface with the project controllers as required. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a university degree Bachelor or equivalent qualification with several years of relevant experience. A qualification with good background in elements of information technology would be an asset. You possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively, independently or in a team, and proactive approach to problem solving. Experience in an international organization and multicultural working environment would be an asset. You have interest in and a good understanding of technical, programmatic and policy issues of ESA EO programmes, particularly in innovative domains such as those of current information technologies, with a desire to learn and ability to think outside the box. You are able to travel frequently between sites, namely ESTEC and ESRIN. You have excellent communication, planning and organisation skills. You are flexible with working schedule.
