Needed date As soon as possible The work is related to the definition, specification and development of test tools and the generation of test data which are required to support system and ground segment VV activities. This may include inhouse development activities as well as the procurement of test tools test data sets from external entities. PROFILE Mandatory skills University degree in the domain of engineering, physics or equivalent. At least 3 years of general experience with onground processing of data from satellite instruments for Earth observation. At least 3 years of handson involvement in VV activities for onground processing chains, including production of test tools and of test data. At least 3 years of experience with software specification, design and development and relevant standards. Direct involvement in preparation of test plans, specifications, procedures and reports. Be able to fulfil the assigned tasks without supervision, Have a systematic approach to work, Be able to plan hisher work and to cope with tight schedules and multiple tasks, Have the capability to write accurate and consistent technical documentation, Have good communication skills verbal and written, Be willing to work in a team of engineers and in cooperation with industry and partner agencies. TASKS The tasks of the key person will typically include Contribute to the inhouse development and validation of test data and their maintenance. Contribute to the inhouse development and validation of test tools and their maintenance. Support the consolidation of the development logic for test tools test data and compilation of the associated schedule. Support procurements of test tools test data, including the analysis of received deliverables and attending acceptance tests. Support acceptance of test tools test data provided by partners such as ESA, CNES, DLR. Support the simulation of test data sets for VV using available tools generation of test data sets using real data from satellite and instrument onground tests or inorbit operation. Support the implementation of an infrastructure to host test tools and test data. Support configuration management of tools test data sets Support the preparation of VV tests of processing chains, such as preparation of test specifications and procedures, specifically for aspects related to use of test tools and test data. Contribute to the execution of VV tests of processing chains, specifically for the analysis of test results, inter alia using developed test analysis tools, with documentation of the results in test reports. Participation in relevant internal and external meetings. Support for the preparation of documentation for system level reviews.

The HbbTV Association has announced that a new version of the HbbTV conformance test suite has been published. The release is called v2018-2 and includes 75 new approved tests and 107 repaired and re-approved tests.
