2015-12-23 14:31:09| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

Researchers decided to examine molecular catalysts outside of liquid solution they are normally studied in to see if they could attach catalyst directly onto surface of semiconductor. They were able to put layer of titanium dioxide on surface of semiconductor and bond molecular catalyst to TiO2. Their work showed molecular catalysts can be as highly active as precious metal-based catalysts.
